Halfway there!

We have officially made it to the halfway point in this pregnancy. I'm definitely more impatient this time. I'm not ready for two little munchkins but I am ready to not be pregnant anymore. I know, be careful what you wish for. Here's our latest update:

Sweet baby is in there!

How far Along: 20 wks 3 days
Total weight gain/loss: 7 lbs gained total! (No idea how this has happened... )
Maternity clothes? Yes - I can wear a few regular shirts still but I will probably start wearing more maternity ones soon.
Stretch marks? New ones - no. Old ones - still there...
Sleep: I'm sleeping way better!
Best moment of the week: Finding out Baby's sex!
Have you told family and friends: Yep!
Miss anything: Sleeping in any position I want.
Movement: I feel weird sensations on my right side. It's not really movement though.
Food cravings: Burritos. Yogurt. Water - I'm SO thirsty!
Anything make you queasy or sick: If I don't eat enough or fast enough, I will start to feel gross.
Have you started to show yet: Oh yes. In fact I had a shirt on this week and Adam told me I was really looking pregnant. Funny because I was thinking the same thing.
Gender: Girl!!!!!!!!!!  It's a Peak miracle! Of course this poor girl has the most ungirly mother so this should get real interesting.
We were in shock that baby is a girl for a few days. We still haven't gone shopping for anything new. Instead we have started shopping through our friend's hand-me-downs. Girls have a lot of stuff!

Labor signs: No.
Belly button in or out: In.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: HAPPY! That took long enough for the moodiness to pass.
Looking forward to: Spring - I'm ready to bust out my cute maternity shirts from Harrison. I didn't get to wear them as much as I would have liked with him:0)

We both still can't believe we're going to have a baby girl. I mean really. I know boys. I get boys. I can watch ESPN, talk sports and just hang out. Girls?! They need their hair done and have bows/tights/dresses/bloomers.... Wow. I know everything will fall into place and next year at this time we wouldn't have it any other way but until she gets here, I'll probably keep freaking out. I'm so thankful we have so many friends with girls to help us out as needed. Oh and they have some really cute hand-me-down clothes!

Mother of a son & daughter!

Christmas 2012!

We had an awesome Christmas this year! Even though Adam and I agreed to keep it small, we still ended up with a massive pile under the tree. We both had some great surprises for each other and of course for Harrison.

He was very excited about opening all of his presents!!
Harrison was so excited Christmas morning! Although he knew how to open presents this year, we had to stop after every one. He wanted to open each one right then and there.

Santa brought Harrison a moose sleeping bag!
Adam's big surprise was a gift card to golf - he got his own set of clubs! Mine? Black Birkenstocks (I'm already anticipating swollen feet...) and an amazing pearl necklace! Once our gifts were opened, we headed over to my parents for breakfast and more gifts!

A boy and his cars!
By about noon we were all wiped and went back home for a much needed nap! Of course after nap time we played until we couldn't play anymore :0)

Keep it rollin'

I'm crossing my fingers the next post will be about what we've been up to lately. As for today, here's our sweet Baby Peak update:0)

Yeah! Look what made it on the tree again!
How far Along: 16 wks 6 days
Total weight gain/loss: None since my 12 wk appt!!!!
Maternity clothes? Yes - My regular shirts are slightly tight but the maternity ones are still a bit big.
Stretch marks? New ones - no. Old ones - still there...
Sleep: I randomly fall asleep after school - usually when Harrison is eating his snack and watching cartoons. Nights have gotten better but still depends on the night.
Best moment of the week: Sleeping through the night without getting up to use the bathroom.
Have you told family and friends: Yep!
Miss anything: Sleeping normally... sigh...
Movement: Sometimes I think I feel something but I'm not sure.
Food cravings: Big into Chinese right now. Must be the salt?
Anything make you queasy or sick: If I don't eat enough or fast enough, I will start to feel gross.
Have you started to show yet: Yes.
Gender prediction: Girl. I know I'm crazy but I'm sticking to my guns. Obviously either is great!

At our 16wk appt we had another sonogram. The nurse and doctor both tried to figure out the sex. The nurse took a guess but sweet baby just wasn't having it. Takes after brother on that one. Supposedly this is something... Just don't know what... Heart rate was 144-147. Do what you will with that.
Labor signs: No.
Belly button in or out: In.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: More happy now but there are some rough patches.
Looking forward to: Jan. 2nd - we find out if this little nugget is a boy or girl! (We bumped it up a couple of days!)

I totally look lopsided don't I? We'll start profile pictures next time.
I'm out to find a snack!
