Last month!

I've been waiting for this for 36wks... We are in the last month of pregnancy. Thank you God! I'm about spent. Some people enjoy pregnancy, but I've been counting this one down since maybe week 7. Yeah not as easy as last time. Since I keep forgetting to post new pregnancy updates, I'll do a small recap.

31.5 wks
How far Along: 30wks 3 days
Total weight gain/loss: I was down 1 lb at this appt. 14 lbs gained total!

How far Along: 36wks 2 days
Total weight gain/loss: And down a lb again. 17 lbs gained total!
Maternity clothes? Yes - everything all the time except for bed. Thank goodness for XL shirts.
Stretch marks? New ones - who knows. Old ones - still there...
Sleep: It comes and goes. Really depends on the bladder and heart burn..
Best moment of the week: I have made a little progress! 50% effaced and dilated 1 cm. I don't care if it doesn't mean anything. In my mind it means I won't be pregnant forever!!
Have you told family and friends: Yep!
Miss anything: I miss everything about having my own body to myself.
Movement: Everywhere. A lot of butt sticking out movements very high in my belly.

Can you tell she's on the left side?
Food cravings: Everything is delicious. Just wish I didn't have to deal with heart burn.
Anything make you queasy or sick: If I don't eat enough or fast enough, I will start to feel gross.
Have you started to show yet: Yes - seriously are you looking at the pictures?!
Gender: After 3 different doctor appts, still a girl.
Labor signs: No.
Belly button in or out: In - but hanging on by a thread.
Wedding rings on or off: OFF!!! Nothing fits now.
Happy or Moody most of the time: A little of both. Really tired for sure.
Looking forward to: Meeting this little girl!

This week Adam has really kicked room preparations into high gear. Harrison is now in his big boy room - I personally LOVE it!
Harrison loves his BIG big boy room!
The nursery has been painted. We were very brave and attempted stripes. As you can see in the below picture they turned out great! No theme per se, but we are doing grey, white and a pinkish/purple.

Yeah for stripes!
Only a few more weeks left!

THREE!!!

Harrison recently had his THIRD birthday! It's just crazy that he's three. When I think of all of the changes he's gone through in just one year, wow. He's our big boy.
He's singing "Happy birthday" to himself!
Friday Harrison celebrated at daycare with strawberry cupcakes and purple frosting - yes only our son would pick that. We also sent some fun sugar cookies with icing and sprinkles! Friday night we met Nana and Pawpaw at Red Robin for a delicious dinner! Okay Harrison just ate fruit and french fries but whatever. You should have seen his face when they came out to sing their birthday song! He was like, "uh...."
Is the song optional?
After dinner we headed home for some presents. He did a great job unwrapping the presents and the cards. We are loaded with fun things to do!
Puzzles from Aunt Serean and Uncle Larry.

Clothes that FIT from Nana & Pawpaw!

Lots of fun packages from Grandma & Grandpa - including Legos!

And of course a cool bubble mower from GJ and Pops!

Saturday was the big birthday party day! Poor boy just wanted to hurry up and go so he could play with his friends. After lunch we finally packed up and headed out. This year we had Harrison's birthday at Little Monkey Bizness. It was awesome! No cleaning our house. No preparing multiple food items. No worrying about our dogs. Ten of his friends came to play for an hour on a bouncy house and lots of climbing things then it was to the party room for cupcakes, ice cream and presents!
Make a wish Buddy!

One of many cool gifts from our friends!

A boy can NEVER have too many Legos!!
After the party wrapped up we headed home for a much needed nap. To end the day we got to play outside in the gorgeous weather with new bubbles! It was a perfect day!

Happy birthday to my sweet boy - you will always be my baby!

What's been going on?

I've been really slacking at this whole blog thing. I guess you could say the pregnancy has kind of sidetracked me. Oops. Here's a few highlights over the past month.

Valentine's Day
We (I) made some really simple Valentines this year for Harrison to take to his daycare. Thank you Pinterest! Harrison had also decorated a Valentine's box a few weeks before.

No sugar - just some rainbow goldfish!
Harrison was so cute - he kept saying "Happy Valentime's Day!"

Of course his cookie has purple frosting and LOTS of sprinkles!

Snow Storm 2013
In February we had two giant snow storms a week apart. Area schools were closed 2 days 2 weeks in a row. Last year I missed the snow a bit (we got maybe 1 inch total all winter). This winter I was ready for spring after New Year's. I'm very thankful all the snow has finally melted!

Just a little snow.
I think Adam is really over shoveling snow as well.

His famous last words: If I jump in the snow will you take a picture?
The only good thing out of the snow is that it was Harrison's first time to get out and play in snow. Sure it snowed his first year but I doubt he remembers that. Luckily his daycare went out and had lots of fun playing!!
The boy loves the snow!

In like a lion!
March came in like a lion in our house. The first weekend in March Harrison got a little stomach bug. I hate seeing him not feeling well. Thank goodness he was better within 48 hours.

Such a snuggly, tired boy.

In other news
Potty training - epic fail on my part here. We gave it a shot one day during winter break. That was all I could take. I will gladly pay someone to train him for me.
Nursery - oh are we supposed to be getting ready for another baby?! I know May is close but it still seems so far away. I think Adam's starting to get anxious though about getting everything ready. Hopefully we'll be getting Baby Girl's new furniture sooner than later. I have it all planned out in my head..
Big boy room - yes Harrison will be moving rooms to his new big boy room. Once again all of the ideas are right here **points to head** but they just haven't quite happened yet. Harrison's new room currently is full of furniture that needs to be moved to my parents' house. Yeah, add that to the to-do list too.

Sigh. I think that's it for now. I'm on 2 week appointments now. I'm definitely not sleeping at night. And Harrison is definitely waking up at 7-7:30am even on the weekends. (What happened to my late sleeper?)
